We measure whether AI assistants recommend a business, so we measured ourselves the same way: 30 questions an owner asks when looking for help with AI visibility, in 11 languages, put to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok three times each.

In October 2026 we asked ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok 30 questions about getting a business recommended by AI, in 11 languages, and 4 of their 358 answers named AIGROW: an AI Recommendation Rate of 1.1%. We ask the same questions every month and publish the result here, whatever it is.

The method
The same AI Recommendation Rate the AI Visibility Index publishes for every business it ranks, from the same runner.
- The questions
- Written the way business owners in each market look for help, in their own language, with more questions in the larger markets and at least one in every language. They stay the same from month to month, so the months compare.
- The assistants
- ChatGPT and Claude through their makers’ own command-line tools, Gemini and Grok through OpenRouter, the routes of the AI Visibility Index. The prompt is the one the free scan uses, with no web search, no location and no chat history.
- Repetitions
- Each assistant was asked every question three times, since the same question can get a different answer the next time.
- What counts
- An answer counts when it names AIGROW, however it is spelled. The rate is the answers that named it, of the answers that came back; a failed call counts in neither.
