The best AI visibility tool depends on your work. A local business needs relevant questions and locations; an agency needs repeatable reporting; a brand team may need market-wide research. This guide compares eight options by their documented strengths, includes AIGROW as the publisher, and links to the evidence behind each description.

Ahrefs Brand Radar

Brand research connected to search demand

Visit Ahrefs Brand Radar

Brand Radar combines a searchable AI Visibility Index with custom prompts. Its index draws on search-backed questions and stored AI responses. Custom prompts let you choose buyer questions, locations and checking frequency. Ahrefs also offers keyword research, backlink analysis and site audits in its broader platform.

Best reason to choose it
A stronger fit for researching brands and cited pages across a broad prompt dataset, alongside existing SEO research.
Check before you choose
Ahrefs says the index can have limited coverage for brands with little search demand. Evaluate custom prompts for a small or new business.

AIGROW

A first business scan and public local research

Visit AIGROW

Start with a free website scan, then use the public AI Visibility Index to see which businesses assistants named for a category and place. AIGROW publishes its methods and downloadable research data. The website and buyer guides are available in eleven languages; the plans page describes account features and monitoring allowances.

Best reason to choose it
A practical starting point for local owners and agencies who want to inspect a business and read public research before choosing a plan.
Check before you choose
The public Index is a dated research sample, not live tracking of every business. A free scan is a starting point, not a guarantee of an AI mention.

BrightLocal

Location-by-location AI and local SEO work

Visit BrightLocal

BrightLocal’s Local AI Visibility Tracker reports by location and prompt across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews. Its workflow connects cited-directory gaps to Citation Builder. The product page describes branded and unbranded prompts, sentiment and local competitor comparisons.

Best reason to choose it
A stronger fit when an agency needs location-level AI tracking connected to its local citation workflow.
Check before you choose
Confirm support for your countries and the platforms you need. The documented tracker coverage is not every AI assistant.

OtterlyAI

Daily monitoring of prompts and citations

Visit OtterlyAI

OtterlyAI monitors the prompts you add for brand mentions and website citations. Its documentation describes daily runs across the engines available in your account, with prompt-level results and access to individual responses. The product also offers prompt research and content audits.

Best reason to choose it
A stronger fit for a team that already knows which buyer questions to follow and wants regular prompt and citation reports.
Check before you choose
Check engine access and reporting needs against the account you intend to use. A monitored prompt set does not represent all AI searches.

Peec AI

Prompt analytics for marketing teams

Visit Peec AI

Peec AI tracks brand visibility, position and sentiment in AI answers. Its product page shows custom prompts, tags, country selection and analysis of the sources influencing answers, with recommendations for acting on the results.

Best reason to choose it
A stronger fit for a marketing team that wants to compare brand perception and cited sources across its chosen prompts and markets.
Check before you choose
Ask for a demonstration with your actual prompts, language and country. Country selection alone does not prove coverage of your niche.

Profound

Brand analysis and research into real user prompts

Visit Profound

Profound’s Answer Engine Insights runs prompts daily and groups results by topics and tags. Its separate Prompt Volumes product uses licensed AI conversations to estimate demand and explore real user questions. Profound also presents marketing agents and agent analytics as part of its platform.

Best reason to choose it
A stronger fit for a brand team that needs prompt-demand research alongside answer-engine analysis and marketing workflows.
Check before you choose
Profound documents differences in Prompt Volumes coverage by region and model. Validate those markets before building a reporting workflow around the data.

Scrunch

AI monitoring with crawler diagnostics and agent delivery

Visit Scrunch

Scrunch describes prompt and citation monitoring, AI bot traffic analysis and crawl-error detection. Its Agent Experience Platform creates a lightweight version of site content for AI agents. Its product page also lists competitor, persona, topic and geographic comparisons.

Best reason to choose it
A stronger fit when a technical team needs to investigate how AI agents access the site as well as how the brand appears in answers.
Check before you choose
Evaluate the integration and content-delivery setup with your developers. Agent delivery is a separate requirement from measuring brand mentions.

Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit

AI reporting alongside an established SEO workflow

Visit Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit

Semrush’s AI Visibility Toolkit includes brand and competitor benchmarking, sentiment analysis, prompt research, daily prompt tracking and AI crawler audits. Its documentation describes reporting for stakeholders. The broader Semrush platform also includes keyword research, backlink analysis and local SEO tools.

Best reason to choose it
A stronger fit for a team that needs AI visibility reports together with traditional SEO research and reporting.
Check before you choose
Confirm which toolkit includes each feature and whether it supports your markets. A broad brand overview and custom prompt tracking answer different questions.

How we made this comparison

Published by AIGROW, which is included in this guide. We reviewed public product pages and help documentation, not paid accounts. The roundup lists tools alphabetically, with no overall ranking or performance score. Recommendations are our assessment of fit, not hands-on benchmarks. Features and access can change; confirm requirements with each provider.

For a useful trial, use the same business, buyer questions, country and language. Inspect the answers and cited pages where available. Keep the date and collection settings with your results.

Compare your shortlist

A direct comparison and alternatives for each of these four platforms.

Before choosing a tool

Start with the questions customers ask about your service and place. Check whether the tool can measure those questions in your language and location, and whether it gives you answers you can inspect. A first scan and public research can help you decide whether you need ongoing tracking.

Not directly. Prompt sets, engines, locations, web search settings and collection dates can differ. Compare answers on the same questions and conditions, then judge trends within one consistent method. A higher score from another provider may simply reflect a different sample.

No. A tool can measure sampled answers, identify issues or help you plan changes. It does not control what an assistant recommends. Track whether relevant answers change after the work, and record the questions, settings and dates used.

Use one real client, a fixed set of buyer questions and an agreed reporting period. Check the raw responses, countries, languages, exports and account permissions you need. Ask who will implement changes after each report, and measure the time needed to produce a useful client update.

Start with your business

Run a free scan to see where your website stands. Read the findings, then check the current plans if you want ongoing account features.

A scan cannot guarantee an AI mention or ranking.
