This checks whether the page meets Google's documented conditions. It cannot tell you whether Google shows it in an AI Overview.

This free AI Overviews checker reads one public page and its robots.txt. It checks Google’s documented conditions for Search and snippets, then reviews text in the HTML and answer readability. The readability checks are heuristics. It does not observe Google’s results, confirm indexing or predict inclusion in an AI Overview.

How to use this checker

Enter one page URL
Use a public page address. The checker follows redirects and reads the final HTML and robots.txt, with the same limits as the SEO checker.
Add a query if useful
Enter a question or search phrase to find the paragraph with the most matching terms. Matching runs locally in the analyser, without a model call or a search request.
Review the conditions and heuristics
Fix unintended crawl, indexing or snippet restrictions. Read the separate heuristics as editorial suggestions. Confirm actual indexing with Google Search Console.

Questions about this checker

No. It checks the page response and Google’s documented conditions. It does not observe Google Search results or verify Google’s index. Meeting the conditions does not guarantee that Google crawls, indexes or shows the page.

A page must be indexed and eligible to appear in Google Search with a snippet. Google documents no additional technical requirements for AI Overviews or AI Mode. This checker reads crawl and indexing signals, but cannot confirm indexing.

Yes. Google says nosnippet prevents text snippets and direct use of the content in AI Overviews and AI Mode. max-snippet:0 is equivalent to nosnippet. Other max-snippet values limit text, and data-nosnippet excludes text on supported elements. Separately permitted uses of structured data can be treated differently.

No. Google-Extended controls some Gemini training and grounding uses. It does not affect inclusion in Google Search or AI Overviews. Googlebot and Search snippet controls govern these Search features.

No. Google says there is no special schema or extra markup required for its AI Search features. Structured data that you provide should match the visible text. This tool checks JSON-LD syntax and types, but cannot verify every claim against the page.

No. The word count, paragraph length, question heading and date checks are diagnostic or readability heuristics. Google has no technical minimum word count for an indexed page. A useful answer can be shorter or longer.
