YouTube money calculator

Estimate long-form or Shorts revenue using creator RPM or an ad CPM model. Read sourced niche and country references, compare three monthly and yearly scenarios, and price sponsorships separately.

Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser, with no AI calls.

YouTube estimates multiply total video views, or engaged Shorts views, by creator RPM per thousand. RPM already reflects YouTube’s share and views without ads. An ad CPM scenario instead uses monetized playback share, ads per playback and the 55% creator share. Compare sourced niche or country references, monthly and yearly scenarios, and separate sponsorship fees.

How to use this tool

Enter eligible views
Choose long-form or Shorts. Creator RPM uses all long-form video views, including those without an ad, or engaged Shorts views. For an advertiser CPM model, enter total video views, the percentage with an ad and ad impressions per monetized playback. Eligibility is required for actual payouts; this tool does not verify it.
Choose your RPM range
Enter ordered low, typical and high rates in one currency. Reference buttons use USD, without currency conversion. YouTube niche values are observed percentiles; country values are points without a published spread. The weak TikTok US range has an arithmetic midpoint, not a measured typical payment. Niche and country effects are not multiplied together.
Read the scenario
RPM scenarios use views / 1,000 × the selected creator RPM. Ad CPM scenarios also apply monetized playback share, ads per playback and the 55% creator share once. Shorts RPM already reflects its 45% pool share. Sponsorship estimates are separate. Annual results assume the monthly pace continues, without a forecast of future views.

Platform monetisation guidance

Questions before you start

No. Monetisation programme, eligibility, content, audience and period all change revenue, so the calculator never applies a rate by itself. The starting range is a published spread you can use as a first guess; the RPM in your own dashboard is a better figure.

Follower count alone cannot establish platform revenue. The sponsorship section can normalize indicative IMH tier fees into rates per 1,000 followers or subscribers, but these are negotiable deliverable prices. An account without eligible monetisation can earn zero from a platform programme even with a large audience.

It is arithmetic for the assumptions you type. It does not verify those assumptions, scrape an account or promise a payout. Sponsorships have their own calculation. Other income, expenses and taxes are excluded.

YouTube’s Partner Program terms give creators 55% of net ad revenue on long-form videos and 45% of the revenue allocated to them from the Shorts Creator Pool. RPM is already after these shares, so the calculator does not subtract them again. From 1 February 2027, a month’s Shorts revenue needs 10 million qualified Shorts views in the last 90 days.
