UTM builder
Build one campaign link or a CSV batch. Pick a channel preset, check how GA4 classifies your tags, and reuse naming conventions saved in your browser.
Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser, with no AI calls.
A UTM builder adds campaign tags to incoming links so analytics can identify their source and medium. Build one URL or up to 500 from pasted links or CSV. This tool preserves query parameters and fragments, checks naming, and previews Google's manual GA4 channel rules. Your destination still needs configured analytics.
Campaign details
Source and medium are required. Campaign is recommended. Values stay as typed until you apply your naming convention.

This changes the shared form values only. CSV overrides and imported URL values keep their original spelling. Review row warnings before exporting.

About URL shortening
This builder does not provide a shortening service. If you use a redirect on a domain you control, point it to the complete tagged URL and test the final destination. A third-party short link depends on that provider staying available. QR codes can encode the full URL directly.
Use campaign links for incoming traffic. Avoid tagging internal navigation, and keep names, email addresses and other personal information out of UTM values.
How to use this tool
- Choose one link or a batch
- Paste an HTTP or HTTPS destination, or up to 500 URLs. CSV starts with a url header and optional utm_ columns. Quoted commas, escaped quotes and embedded newlines are supported. URL inputs and generated links are limited to 2,000 characters; tags to 200 characters and file imports to 1 MB. Invalid rows stay visible in the export.
- Set names and inspect the channel
- Source and medium are required; campaign is recommended. Presets fill source and medium. The linter flags capitals, spaces and inconsistent separators without changing your input. Apply lowercase and your separator when ready. The preview follows dated Google manual channel rules and its linked source list. Google Ads auto-tagging and custom primary channel groups can change the reported channel.
- Import, export and reuse
- Import tags from an existing link to edit them. Output replaces all occurrences of the seven supported UTM fields, preserving other parameters and the fragment. In bulk, explicit CSV cells override existing tags, which override the shared defaults. Download CSV with channel and warning columns. Save up to ten naming conventions and twenty recent links in this browser, or send a link to the QR generator.
