We asked ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini the four questions a buyer asks when looking for supermarkets in Belgium, three times each (Claude once), in Dutch, and counted who they named. These are the businesses named in two or more of the 28 answers.

Asked for supermarkets in Belgium, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini most often named Delhaize (75% of answers), Colruyt (68%) and Albert Heijn (50%). Across 28 answers they named 10 different businesses, 1 of them only once. Each of four buyer questions was asked three times (Claude once), in Dutch, in October 2026.
The ranking
