We asked ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini the four questions a buyer asks when looking for supermarkets in Canada, three times each (Claude once), in English, and counted who they named. These are the businesses named in two or more of the 28 answers.
Names are printed as the assistants wrote them. We have not checked that any of them is good, open, or real.

Asked for supermarkets in Canada, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini most often named Walmart (50% of answers), Farm Boy (36%) and Whole Foods Market (36%). Across 28 answers they named 22 different businesses, 3 of them only once. Each of four buyer questions was asked three times (Claude once), in English, in October 2026.
