Google Business post generator

Use this Google Business post generator to write update, offer and event posts from your own details, pick a button, check the text against Google’s content rules and test your photo before uploading it.

Free, no sign-up. Everything runs in your browser, and nothing you type is sent.

Your drafts

Choose a post type, add your details, then write drafts. Offers and events need a title and dates.

A Google Business Profile post is an update, an offer or an event. Offers need a title and dates, events need a title with start and end dates, and updates can carry a button such as Book or Call now. This free generator writes drafts from your details and flags phone numbers, links and other content Google may reject.

How to use this tool

Pick the post type
Choose an update for news, an offer for a dated deal or an event with start and end dates. Each type shows the fields Google asks for. Hotels cannot publish offers, so the tool stops that combination.
Add details and a button
Write what is new in your own words and choose a button such as Book, Order online or Call now. Every button except Call now needs a web link. Offers get the View offer button automatically.
Check the text and photo
Edit a draft and read the checks: phone numbers, email addresses, social handles, links and regulated products can get a post rejected or removed. Then test your photo: JPG or PNG, 10 kB to 5 MB, at least 250 by 250 pixels.

Google help on Business Profile posts

Questions before you start

Google’s help pages do not print a limit. Posting tools report that the form stops at 1,500 characters, so the counter uses that figure and says where it comes from. Put the main point in the first sentence.

Google says a post with a phone number in its description might be rejected if the number cannot be verified as connected to the business, and suggests a Call now button instead. Email addresses and social handles can also get a post removed.

Google archives posts older than six months unless they have a date range. Offers and events have dates, and an event without start or end times shows as lasting 24 hours on its dates.

Google asks for JPG or PNG between 10 kB and 5 MB, at least 250 by 250 pixels, and recommends 720 by 720. Videos can run up to 30 seconds and 75 MB at 720p or higher. The photo check reads your file in the browser and uploads nothing.

A post alone does not decide your ranking or whether an AI assistant mentions you. Posts keep your profile current and give customers a reason to act, such as booking a visit or coming to an event.

The free visibility scan checks AI answers for your business and explains what to work on next. Accurate listings and clear descriptions are a good start, though no tool can promise rankings or mentions.
