JPEG, PNG, WebP and AVIF where supported. Up to 20 files, 20 MiB each, 80 MiB per batch.

Lower quality usually makes a smaller file. Check the preview for detail loss.

Resize settings

Width and height are maximum bounds. Leave one blank to calculate it from the original. Presets fit the whole image without cropping.

Enlargement is off by default. Increasing pixel dimensions does not recover missing detail. Output is limited to 4 megapixels and 4096 pixels per side.

EXIF and GPS are stripped by default. Re-encoding also removes animation and embedded colour profiles.

Output is capped at 4 megapixels and 4096 pixels per side. Actual dimensions are shown for every file. No files are uploaded.

An image resizer changes pixel dimensions. Set a width, height or percentage and keep the aspect ratio to fit the whole picture inside your chosen bounds. Enlargement is off by default. Social presets link to dated platform sources. Processing stays in your browser, with actual output dimensions, previews and individual or batch ZIP downloads.

    How to use this tool

    Choose a batch
Pick JPEG, PNG, WebP or browser-decodable AVIF images. The shared engine accepts 20 files, 20 MiB each and 80 MiB combined. Corrupt files fail individually. Your source images are never uploaded.
    Set the dimensions
Use pixel bounds or a percentage. With aspect ratio locked, the whole image fits inside both bounds without cropping. Leave one side blank to calculate it. Unlocking the ratio stretches the picture. No enlargement is the default; enable it deliberately if needed. Output is capped at 4 megapixels and 4096 pixels per side.
    Check and save
Choose a format and inspect actual dimensions and before and after previews. Platform presets link to primary sources and show the checked date. YouTube presets are compact variants of its recommended dimensions. Web hero and website thumbnail are practical defaults, not platform requirements. Download individual files or a ZIP.

    Questions before you start

Presets are width and height bounds. With aspect ratio locked, the output fits inside them without cropping. A smaller image remains smaller while enlargement is off. The memory cap may also reduce output dimensions. Each result shows the actual size.

Enlargement adds pixels through browser resampling. It does not recover detail missing from the source. Compare the preview before publishing, and use a larger original when possible.

Selected images stay on your device. Re-encoding strips EXIF and GPS by default. You can explicitly retain JPEG EXIF when writing JPEG, which can keep GPS location. Other metadata, animation and embedded colour profiles are discarded.
