NAP consistency checker

Use this NAP consistency checker to compare your website, footer, contact page and LocalBusiness schema with your approved details. Check pasted listings and open a country-specific directory checklist.

Free, no sign-up. Website checks use our guarded API; pasted listings are compared in your browser.

NAP means name, address and phone. This free checker compares your reference with visible website details, footer, contact page and LocalBusiness schema. Country rules handle common address abbreviations and phone prefixes across eleven markets. Compare up to ten pasted listings too. Open the country directory searches yourself; the checklist does not fetch them.

Your correct business details

Compare one location at a time. Use public details and include the phone’s country code when available.

Check your website against your business details

First enter your correct details above. We read this page and one linked contact page, including their footer and LocalBusiness schema. Only the website URL is sent to the API. Your reference stays in this browser.

Only an explicit name and address in query or q are read. No Google request is made. Confirm every field; phone and website must be entered yourself.

Two pages at most, 1.5 MB each, 20 seconds total. Robots rules apply to every redirect. Results may be cached for five minutes. Ten checks per hour; no sign-up.

Listing 1

Your listing comparison

Compare pasted directory details here, or check your website above. Use the checklist to open directory searches yourself. Keep one location per reference.

Fix wrong details first
An old address or wrong phone can stop a customer reaching you.
Review formatting separately
Case, spaces and some punctuation can differ without describing a different business.
Keep missing details visible
A blank field is missing, never a successful match. The country controls phone prefixes and known address abbreviations. House and unit numbers stay significant.

Check your public listings

Open each search yourself, confirm the business and compare its details. These sites have not been scanned. Availability and eligibility vary by business.

How to use this tool

Set your reference
Use the current public name, full address and phone for one location. Check that your website and Google Business Profile show the right details first. For a service-area business, do not publish a private address just to fill this tool.
Paste the listings you want to compare
Open each directory yourself and copy its details into a separate listing. Label it so you know where to make a correction. You can compare up to ten listings. Empty fields are reported as missing, and a completely empty listing cannot be checked.
Check differences before changing anything
Wrong phone numbers, moved addresses and changed names deserve attention first. Formatting changes need a visual check. The selected country controls known address abbreviations and domestic phone prefixes. Accents, house and unit numbers, Italian leading zeroes and phone extensions remain significant. Name suffix variants need visual review.

Google’s business representation guidelines

Questions before you start

It reads your business website and at most one linked contact page, respecting robots.txt and redirects. It does not search Google or scrape directories. Open the country checklist searches yourself and paste listing details for comparison. A Maps URL can prefill explicit query text without a Google request.

Capitalisation, repeated spaces, commas, periods and semicolons can produce a formatting flag instead of a different-details flag. Phone spaces, brackets and hyphens are ignored, and an international prefix written as 00 is compared with +. Read the original values before deciding whether a change is needed.

Choose the country of the location. Known abbreviations and national telephone prefixes are compared as formatting variants, while house and unit identifiers remain distinct. Phone numbers are formatted as E.164, without verifying allocation or reachability. Multiple schema locations and conflicting values remain visible for review.

Your reference and pasted listings are compared in the browser and are not sent to an AI model. A website check sends only the website URL to our guarded API, which may cache the fetched evidence for five minutes. Inputs are not stored in browser storage. Use public details and keep private addresses private.

No. Matching text is not proof of a verified business or a search ranking factor score. Google asks businesses to represent their name and location accurately. Keeping details current helps customers, but rankings and AI recommendations depend on many other factors.
