Organization schema is a JSON-LD block on your home page that states your company’s name, logo, website, contact details, address and official profiles. Google says it uses these details to tell your organization apart from others in search results. This free generator writes the block, checks it against Google’s recommended properties and links every profile with sameAs.
How this works
- Start with the name, website and logo
- These are the details Google shows most often. The logo should be at least 112 by 112 pixels and readable on a white background. Use the address of the image file itself, starting with https://.
- Link your official profiles
- In sameAs, list pages that are clearly about your organization, such as Wikipedia, Wikidata, LinkedIn, Crunchbase and your social profiles. They tie the markup to other sources that describe you, which can help search engines and AI assistants recognise the same company everywhere.
- Add identifiers if you have them
- A VAT number, tax ID, LEI or D-U-N-S number identifies your company precisely, and Google lists them as recommended. The generator checks the LEI and D-U-N-S formats and warns about values that look wrong. It does not look them up.
- Place it once and test it
- Put the block on the home page or the About page, not on every page. Google lists no required properties for Organization, so the checklist shows the recommended ones. Then test the live page with Google’s Rich Results Test.
