AI visibility

AI visibility is the observable presence of a business, product or website in AI generated answers. A measurement may count names, recommendations, descriptions or cited links, which are different events. A useful visibility result identifies its questions, assistants, language, location and date, and reports failed requests separately from answered questions.

Why it matters for a business

A business can be mentioned with incorrect details, cited without being recommended, or present for irrelevant questions. Tracking a headline score alone hides these differences. Owners should inspect the answer and connect the measured question to a service they actually sell.

Example and evidence

The AIGROW Index ranks businesses by the share of answered tests that name them. The free scan uses a separate weighted score. Their values answer different questions and should not be presented as interchangeable percentages.

What to do next

Start with questions a prospective customer would ask before choosing you. Check the named business, description and links separately. Keep the same question set for comparisons and record the language and location. Treat a missing result in a limited sample as an absence from that sample.

Common question

No. The Index contains published tests for particular categories, locations and editions. Your business may appear for a different question or on another date. A fresh scan checks a different, business-specific sample.
