We asked ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok the four questions a buyer asks when looking for accounting software in Germany, three times each, in German, and counted who they named. These are the businesses named in two or more of the 48 answers.

Asked for accounting software in Germany, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok most often named sevDesk (100% of answers), lexoffice (83%) and Buhl WISO MeinBüro (58%). Across 48 answers they named 20 different businesses, 6 of them only once. Each of four buyer questions was asked three times, in German, in September 2026.
