We asked ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini the four questions a buyer asks when looking for supermarkets in Switzerland, three times each (Claude once), in German, and counted who they named. These are the businesses named in two or more of the 28 answers.

Asked for supermarkets in Switzerland, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini most often named Migros (89% of answers), Coop (89%) and Lidl Schweiz (57%). Across 28 answers they named 13 different businesses, 4 of them only once. Each of four buyer questions was asked three times (Claude once), in German, in October 2026.
