If you are eligible for a Google Business Profile, check your real business name, primary category, address or service area, telephone, opening hours and website. A service-area business should follow Google's rules about displaying an address. Keep holiday hours current. If you only operate online and are ineligible, work on your website and relevant industry profiles instead.
Ask customers who actually used your business for honest feedback. Use the same request regardless of whether they were happy. Offer no discounts or rewards for reviews, and do not ask for a particular star rating. Reply with useful facts and keep customer details private. These are good practices for customers and local search; they do not guarantee an AI mention.
