A review request email should thank the customer, invite honest feedback and give one clear link to the review page. This free template generator creates editable email, SMS and WhatsApp messages in eleven languages, plus a printable card. Invite customers consistently, allow positive and negative feedback, and never offer rewards or ask for a particular rating.

Your review request email

Generate a subject and email, then choose SMS or WhatsApp if needed. Each message can be edited before copying.

Invite honest feedback
Ask customers consistently. Welcome positive and negative experiences.
Keep the request fair
Do not offer a reward, ask for five stars or screen out unhappy customers.
Use the right language
Choose the draft language independently of the page. Customer and business names stay as entered.

Before you publish or send

  • Do not offer money, discounts or gifts for a Google review, change or removal.
  • Do not send only satisfied customers to the public review page. Ask consistently without screening by rating.
  • Do not include order numbers, health details, private contact information or claims you cannot verify.
  • Do not write a customer review for them, pressure them for five stars or promise a ranking result.

When to ask

Ask after the customer has used the service or received the product, while the experience is recent. Use the same timing rule for everyone. A same-day service request or a few days after delivery can be a practical starting point, not a proven optimum. Send at most one polite reminder, and stop after refusal, opt-out or a completed review.

Use a channel the customer has agreed to receive. Follow local consent, electronic marketing and opt-out requirements for email, SMS and WhatsApp. This draft does not establish permission to contact someone.

US: the FTC rule prohibits fake reviews, sentiment-conditioned incentives and specified review suppression. Google’s policy is stricter about review incentives. EU: when you display consumer reviews, disclose whether and how you verify that reviewers bought or used the service. Do not claim verified reviews without reasonable checks, commission fake reviews or misrepresent endorsements. National implementations also apply.

How to use this tool

Add your business and review link
Use the name customers know and a complete HTTPS link to a review page. For Google, get the link from your Business Profile or our review link generator. This tool checks the link format, not its destination. Open it yourself to confirm the business.
Choose the request
Choose a friendly or professional first request, or a gentle reminder. The customer name is optional. Choose the draft language independently of the page language. Business and customer names stay as you wrote them.
Review and send yourself
Choose email, SMS or WhatsApp, edit the message and check the link. Download the printable card if you need a counter display. Contact only customers you are allowed to contact. Use one courteous reminder when appropriate and stop if they decline. Nothing is sent by this generator.

Google’s policy on genuine reviews

Questions before you start

Yes. It creates the subject and email in your browser, with no account, model call or daily limit. Your customer details are not sent to our API. The tool does not send emails, save a mailing list or publish reviews.

Ask for an honest review without specifying a rating. Google prohibits offering incentives for reviews and selectively requesting positive reviews. Invite customers consistently, including those who had a poor experience. Do not filter people through a satisfaction question before sharing the review link.

You can paste a public HTTPS review link, but each platform has its own rules on requesting reviews. Check those rules before sending. A valid link format does not prove that the page exists, belongs to your business or allows review requests.

If contact is appropriate and allowed, a brief reminder can be useful. The reminder here explicitly tells customers who already reviewed to ignore it. Do not keep following up or promise a benefit. Customers decide whether to leave a review.

No template guarantees reviews, rankings or AI mentions. It makes an honest request easier to write. Customers control their feedback, review sites control publication, and search engines and AI assistants choose which sources they use.
