How AI assistants recommend physiotherapists
A patient with a bad back who asks an AI assistant for physiotherapy gets a few clinic names, and a different few from the next assistant. Here is what they answered in every city the AIGROW Index asked, and what a clinic can work on.

The first two rows are counts; the rows under them are medians over the ranked pages. Every question was asked without a location or a chat history.
Asked for a physiotherapist in 88 cities, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini named about 29 clinics per city, and 52% of those names came up only once. Each assistant builds its list from what is published about a clinic. What a clinic controls is that public record: its treatments, its therapists and its listings.
What a customer asked, and who came first
One place of the 88, as an example: New York. Every place was asked the same questions in its own language, and its page in the Index has the full ranking.

- Which physical therapy clinic in New York is good for sports injuries?
- I need rehab after knee surgery in New York. Which physical therapist should I see?

What an owner can work on
No one can promise a place in an assistant’s answer. What an owner controls is what is published about the business, and these are the parts the questions above point to.
A page for each problem
The questions ask about back pain, sports injuries and rehab after knee surgery. A page for each problem you treat, saying how, matches the way patients ask.
Your therapists by name
Profiles of your therapists, with their training and the patients they see, kept the same on your site and in health directories, give an assistant facts to repeat.
Reviews that name the injury
A review that mentions a knee operation or a running injury describes the clinic in a patient’s words. Ask for reviews at the end of a treatment, and answer each one.
Every ranking for this trade
The AIGROW Index publishes the ranking of each place with every answer, and how it was measured.
